Respect the lasso windup and the angles around barrels and pads. Reactive protection can work if you reliably catch the timing; passive protection is an alternative when that reaction is the problem. If an ally is being carried away, an ally-save item answers a different need from your own survival item.
Deny Lasso with Indomitable, Counterspell, or Unstoppable; use Slowing Hex to turn off jump-pad mobility; and buy spirit defense when the barrels—not the displacement—are what is actually killing you. Rescue Beam remains valuable for saving a kidnapped teammate.

Why it helps: Lasso is the fight-defining control and must be denied before the displacement converts into a kill.

Why it helps: It prevents the movement ability and removes the mobility that makes her so difficult to pin down.
Spirit ResilienceWhat to do: Build spirit resistance instead of overbuying Lasso counters.
Why it helps: If the displacement is survivable but the barrel damage is not, direct spirit defense solves the real problem.
Rescue BeamWhat to do: Rescue Beam the kidnapped teammate as soon as the displacement creates danger.
Why it helps: Pulling the ally back to your position can undo the pick even when the victim did not have their own Counterspell or Unstoppable ready.
Change the angle before the next exchange. Those spaces help her set up the catch and follow-up damage.
Counterspell and Unstoppable depend on the response window. Indomitable is an option when passive protection better fits your reactions.
