Popular Deadlock Builds

Browse community builds using recorded match usage. Match statistics are based on games where a build was selected at the start; they don’t mean every suggested item was purchased.

Most Played, Best Performing and Trending: last 7 days, all recorded matches. Best Performing ranks by a confidence-adjusted win rate (200+ matches, 30+ players). Best for Beginners ranks by a confidence-adjusted win rate in ranked matches at Sentinel and below (Initiate–Sentinel, 150+ games, last 30 days).

Find a Build That Fits

The most popular build isn’t always the right one for your match. Compare playstyles, recent usage and performance before choosing a purchase plan.

What Makes a Good Build?

A useful build has a clear job. Some prioritize farming and item spikes; others focus on burst damage, long fights, frontline durability or teammate support. Look at the core purchases first, then decide which optional items match your opponents.

Understand Your Items

Not sure why something’s in your build? Open an item to see what it does. You can explore full stats and effects in the Item Library without losing your place.

Adapt Your Build to the Match

Enemy heroes change what you need. Choose the team you’re facing in the Counter Item Helper to see situational items and which purchases might be worth moving up the list.

Deadlock Builds FAQ

What is the best Deadlock build?
There isn’t one build that’s best for every hero and matchup. Start with a popular, recently used build that fits your playstyle, then compare its core items, win rate and match sample. Switch optional purchases when the enemy team creates a specific problem.
How are build win rates calculated?
Build win rate is the share of recorded matches won by players who had that published build selected when the match started. Players may change builds or buy different items during a match, so treat the statistic as a useful signal, not proof that following the listed items causes a win.
What does Trending mean?
Trending measures whether a build is gaining usage share compared with the previous seven days. A build can be rising without having the highest win rate, and small samples are excluded from trend rankings.
Should I follow a Deadlock build exactly?
Not always. The core items usually explain the build’s main plan, while other purchases may be situational or optional. If the enemy team has a threat you can’t handle, it can be better to adjust your next item than follow the list blindly.
How do I use a community build in Deadlock?
Copy the build ID from the build’s details, then look it up in Deadlock’s in-game build browser.
