How to Use Suppressor

Who should buy Suppressor?

Heroes who can reliably apply spirit damage and want to reduce a carry’s sustained weapon pressure.

When to activate or apply it

Apply it while your team is trading into the affected carry. Area spirit damage can reduce the fire rate of several enemies you hit.

Watch out for

Its application depends on spirit damage reaching the target. It does not slow movement, disarm the target, remove a debuff on you, or stop ability and melee damage.

When to Buy Suppressor in Deadlock

Buy it when weapon-heavy enemies are winning trades and your abilities can reliably apply the effect. Consider it before the next sustained fight rather than relying on it against damage that already landed.

I need to disrupt her Threadsap-empowered shooting

Use Disarming Hex during her gun commitment, or Suppressor if you can consistently deal spirit damage to her.

Disarming Hex stops weapon fire, denying shots that would carry Threadsap’s bonus spirit damage. Suppressor reduces fire rate through spirit damage. Neither stops her abilities or melee attacks.
